LINK-IT Recruitment Letter English

Leveraging videos and community health workers to address social determinants of health in immigrants (LINK-IT) is a 12-month, 3-arm randomized controlled trial which aims to test the efficacy of two mHealth-based interventions strategies in improving diabetes outcomes among Chinese immigrants with poorly controlled T2D. The three groups include: 1) Video + CHW; 2) Video; and 3) Control. A total of 24 culturally and linguistically tailored 5-minute videos are delivered via text message links (one video per week for 24 weeks).
