How to navigate the CHW Resource Hub

The idea for the CHW Resource Hub grew from a desire to compile and share the vast body of work developed for CHW interventions and initiatives across NYU Langone, often in close collaboration with community partners.

The Hub largely contains a searchable library of documents developed as part of specific CHW programs and interventions. Many Resources will be helpful for program development. Some client-facing materials are also available.

The target audience for the Hub includes researchers, community members, and CHWs who are looking to develop, enhance, or evaluate a CHW project.

Resources and Projects developed by NYU Langone staff and faculty are added to the Hub by the CHW-RRC team. If you have an NYU Langone Project or Resource to add, please contact us at chwrrc@nyulangone.org.

Currently, the Hub only includes Resources developed by NYU Langone staff and faculty. In the future, we may add Projects and Resources external to NYU Langone.

Yes, new Projects and related resources will be added regularly. You can check the News & Announcements section on our home page or Hub-specific emails for any new Projects.

Yes, you can download the materials from the Hub and print them. You will be asked to enter your email the first time you download a resource.

We do not have a geographic filter specific to NYC boroughs.

We currently have training guides available on the Hub. These can be accessed using the following filters in the Refine Results section: Resource type -> Training resources -> Training guides. We hope to have training webinars available in the future.

If you subscribe to receive emails from the CHW-RRC (by entering your email at the bottom of any page of the Hub), you will receive regular communications and newsletters from the CHW-RRC, including about the Hub. If you do not subscribe to receive CHW-RRC emails but download a Resource from the Hub, your email address will be used only for communications specific to the Hub.

No, the Hub currently does not include Resources for making referrals. It provides Resources specific to implementing CHW interventions.

We currently have Resources on the Hub available in 12 languages. If you go to Refine Results and click on Languages, you will find the available languages. If any additional languages are added, they will be added to this list.

Currently, the Resources on the Hub are mostly associated with CHW activities in NYC. There is one Project in Atlanta, GA, affiliated with NYU Langone. We hope to add resources from other states or localities in the future.
